Our website for Checkland Kindleysides has been named winner in the 'Best Visual Design - Aesthetic' category by a panel of esteemed judges at the 12th Annual Webby Awards.

Hailed as the 'Internet's highest honour' by the New York Times the awards received nearly 10,000 entries from all 50 states and over 60 countries worldwide.

This month, Sennep feature in the Japanese magazine ‘Design Note'. The magazine focuses on the design process from early sketches to the final product.

O-Life is here! Sennep has just finished 4 microsites for sporting giant Oakley. Take an irreverent look into the lives of Oakley sponsored athletes Ben Grove, Oli Adams, Vicci Miller, Scott McMorris and Tyler Chorlton. Hand-puppets, hangover cures, language lessons and much, much more.

Sennep have been profiled in cool Japanese magazine Designers' Workshop. We can't read it but it sure does look beautiful. Sennep going global.

Today it's the Norwegian National Day. That means you can eat as much ice cream as you like, but you won't escape the egg and spoon race. Matt made it to the final but has yet to beat Julien. Suspense!

Sennep has launched a brand new site for the award winning structural and civil engineers Expedition Engineering. Have a look around the site and check out their amazing creations.

Sennep have just created an interactive installation for a wedding at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill. The installation tracks and displays only the moving body parts of the guests to encourage and inspire some 'interesting' moves on the dance floor. More photos and video on their way but in the meantime check out Julien Depredurand's Bunker Blog for some snaps of the night and some work in progress video.

The Jacksons of Piccadilly website has just picked up a Bronze World Medal in the 'Craft & Technique' category in this year's New York Festivals' Interactive and Alternative Media Awards.

Sennep has just won a three way pitch for Oakley micro site O-Life. Focusing on the lives of five Oakley sponsored athletes and what they do in their down time. Full site to be launched in June.

We've been working very hard at Sennep Towers, expect lots of exciting new sites soon. Hooray! The Jacksons of Piccadilly website has just been commended in the Design Week Awards. Sennep has also won a very competitive pitch to produce the site for product design super-power Seymourpowell, watch this space.

The Dandelion continued to wow the crowds at the Nordic Exceptional Trendshop. We had an amazing time, Copenhagen was cracking, here's the snaps.

Sennep are currently super busy on some really exciting projects. New sites for Expedition Engineering (the structural engineers behind the Millennium Bridge, a walking building and a wooden submarine) and Liquid TV (broadcast graphics wizards who seem to produce most of the title sequences on TV).
Some other top secret projects in the pipeline as well, watch this space!

Sennep's site for the Sohodolls is featured in the newest book in Taschen's Web Design series: 'WEB DESIGN: MUSIC SITES'. The book features loads of top music projects and four case studies. Check it out.

Sennep's Dandelion is getting another airing at this year's WIRED NextFest in New York. First shown at the Victoria and Albert museum (a onedotzero commission supported by the Arts Council England and the V&A) the Dandelion features in WIRED's vision of a new world's fair: "a four-day festival of innovative products and technologies that are transforming our world."

Sennep's work for Horlicks is included as a case study for 'Design as Concept' in a new book 'The Fundamentals of Animation', by Paul Wells. The book discusses the key principles and processes involved in animation; from finding and researching a concept, through the preparation and techniques used, to the execution of the work.

The latest in Taschen's Web Design series: 'WEB DESIGN: E-COMMERCE' is out now. The book features our site for SoccerTed, amongst many others, as well as seven useful and in-depth case studies on successful e-commerce projects.

While we are on the subject why not get on the SoccerTed site and design your very own hand-crafted World Cup special ted.

For the second year running, one of our sites has been selected for inclusion in the D&AD Annual. From over 24,500 entries worldwide Peepshow has made it into the annual which provides a record of the best design and advertising of the year. Hooray!

Sennep was featured in the latest Computer Arts Projects issue. The magazine covers use of colour in design and has some useful advice, tips and tutorials to help the whole process of using colour less hit and miss when it comes to the printing process.

Sennep have recently finished designing a website for Graphic Design Consultancy Purpose. The clean and minimal website let's the great work speak for itself. The site is managed via a back-end that not only let's Purpose update their work frequently but allows them to tailor the site to give potential clients a customised view of projects that are relevant to them.

We've just launched a site for the new range of authentic fine teas from Jacksons of Piccadilly.

Sennep's site for 'Fallen vodka' has been selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences as an Official Honoree of the 10th Annual Webby Awards.

Sennep were recently lucky enough to be asked to show some work at B-link – The Belgrade Festival of New Communication. The event took place in o3one gallery, a great space in the centre of Belgrade and worth checking out if you find yourself in the Serbian capital. Here are some snaps from the event.

A group of over 80 artists, graphic designers, illustrators and photographers from across the globe recently exhibited work based on the theme of 'trust' in Singapore. The diverse responses can now be seen online at the trust museum.

We smartened ourselves up and went down to the Design Week Awards on Wednesday night. Both Peepshow and Horlicks were nominated in the interactive media - commercial category. Although there was no winner from the 7 short-listed, Peepshow received a commendation from the judges.

transvision at the V&A had a great response on Friday night with talk of up 10,000 visitors squeezing through the doors. Images and footage of our piece coming soon. Special thanks to Lars Jessen, Reg Clarke and Peter Horgøien for all their great work and help.

On February the 24th Sennep is taking part in 'transvision' (a special event at the V&A.) onedotzero has been invited to curate the event, as part of the museum's late night series, and have gathered over 20 key creatives from diverse fields across motion graphics, music videos, short films, interaction design, live audio-visual performances, music, and architecture.

Featured artists will include airside, hi-res!, trevor jackson, allofus, the light surgeons, d-fuse, intro, jason bruges, neutral, peepshow, phillip o' dwyer, pre-loaded, tank.tv, universal everything, usman haques, and united visual artists. For more infomation see the V&A website.

Sennep's site for Bow Wow has been nominated as a Finalist in the 15th Flashforward Film Festival.

The Horlicks website wins more awards!
It's a winner of FAB (International Food and Beverage Creative Excellence Awards). Category: New Media / non-alcoholic drinks. Horlicks also wins Marketing Week's Online & New Media award.

The New York Festivals' Interactive and Alternative Media Awards recognize "The World's Best Work" in interactive and internet communications, online advertising and alternative media and marketing.

The results are in and Sennep's work for Horlicks has scooped a Bronze WorldMedal for 'Best Navigation'. The site also made it as a finalist in the best 'Best use of Music/Sound' category.

In collaboration with the excellent phantomresearchfoundation Sennep have just launched a website for the award-winning photographer James Day.

Commissioned by the Royal Norwegian Embassy, curated by LIFF and designed in collaboration with Non-format Sennep have created the interface for ‘Staerk'. Produced to celebrate the centennial of Norwegian independence the ‘coffee table DVD' is a showcase of Norwegian creative talent.
